Virginia qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, having spent a number of years in corporate accounting and within other chartered accounting firms.
Her experience covers a wide range of areas, including the banking profession, property investment and management, import and retail businesses, and farm accounting.
She founded Vision Accounting because she enjoys meeting with individual business owners and the enthusiasm they have for what they do. They motivate her and she enjoys the new and varied challenges they bring.
Virginia is originally from The Netherlands, having emigrated to New Zealand in 1984. She is married to a New Zealander and is the proud mother of two daughters.
Just quietly, she is a bit of ‘petrol head’ and recently reduced the burden on the planet by acquiring a replacement vehicle with a relatively small 3.6-litre petrol engine. Luckily for Auckland’s air quality, she makes up for this continued excess by spending her family holidays on the beautiful Hauraki Gulf in their wind-powered boat.
Just in case you thought Virginia was doing this all by herself, you will be pleased to note that she is surrounded by a wonderful team of five very committed members of staff. The team is made up of Chartered Accountants, qualified Accountants and Administrators, who together with Virginia have collectively over 100 years of experience in the world of chartered accounting.
Fiona Clark is featured as the cover story for the June edition of NZ Business Magazine. She talks to the editor about her new BreakThrough Women In Business Program, and is also proud to have two clients featured in the magazine; Virginia Stallard (Vision Accounting Solutions) and Jo Kitchen (Northcross Physio and Rehab)
Virginia Stallard from Vision Accounting explains the difference, and why it’s so important to business owners and managers.
